4. Tidying

 I decided I'll give myself a haircut to make it easier to manage while on expedition. Not looking forward to not showering for two weeks. 

While I've got the scissors and clippers out, does anyone need a trim?

It's pretty bad. I had a rash for a while after.

Maybe put your hair in a hairnet or something while it's in the helmet. That way you don't have to think about it hanging in your face and how much grease is in it.

That's probably a good idea. Even though the air is breathable, I've heard it's unwise to go without a helmet.

I worry that my friend Tachibana Kippei might think cutting off his hair is a good idea, when he gets melancholic and dramatic. Please ban him from the scissors and clippers so he doesn't make rash decisions.

So...if he comes for a haircut, I'll just tell him you told me not to give him one?

If he wants a trim that's fine. I'm just worried about the dramatic cutting it all off and short thing he's tried to do before.

When the other party likes you and is interested but you give mixed signals. So the hope that one day you can be more is always there dangling just out of reach.
