Oh. You probably should've waited until I got back, to inspect them. I left recordings to control them, but after two weeks I think they're getting a bit ineffective.
I did read some documentation that the stress of the flight caused them to moult. What an interesting science experiment for the scientists on board to figure out why the feathers didn't regrow as normal.
And perhaps they were nesting. Chickens can be quite territorial.
Do you not see a problem with chickens acting this way??? And what do you mean by dead head?? Are you telling me there is a chicken walking around, alive, but with a dead head?!?!
I did not make a weird sound! I was respectfully entering an agricultural facility!
Of course I know what chickens should be like! My family used to raise chickens in the cherry orchards! Cute fluffy things that like to be cuddled and petted???? Not these ... whatever these are.
